About this Event

Each November, thousands of events will echo across America and around the globe, all sharing a single goal, that God’s great love for the orphan will find place in our lives as well.

Join us on November 17th as we focus on God's heart for the orphan and are equipped for the task of connecting to and providing for orphans in need. We have a global orphan crisis.

We will be giving away our Joy Adoption Grant. We are honored to play our small part in helping a child find their ‘forever family. Invite a family you know to join us for this special service!

We are so excited to have the Joy Adoption Grant established! Join us on Sunday November 3rd, immediately following the service as our Refuge Student Ministry hosts a lunch fundraiser.

All proceeds will benefit the Joy Adoption grant, which will be given away to an adoptive family on November 12th at our Orphan Sunday event.

About this Event

We're so excited for the City of Williamson's annual Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 26th!

This is a safe and fun family event. Come on out to the Williamson (Benson Hilley) Park and Walking Track at 5pm.

You can expect:
+ Trunk-or-Treating (begins at 5pm)
+ Inflatables
+ Live Music 'til 8
+ Food & Treats
+ Hot Chocolate
+ Pet Costume Parade (will kickoff the event at 5pm)

Make sure to come dressed in your best family friendly costumes. We hope to see you there!

We will have signs on site directing you to the start of the trunk-or-treat line.

For those bringing their cars to this event, we ask that you be on site no later than 4:30 to be set up and ready to hand out candy by 5pm.

There is a major need for foster families in the state of Georgia, even right here in Pike and the surrounding counties. There is a way for you to get involved!

Join us here at The Church of Joy on Sunday January 7th for an informational session hosted by a faith based foster care agency, Families4Families. The goal of this session is to answer questions you have about any aspect of foster care.

About this Event

Watching the candlelight dance at our Christmas Eve service, we can’t help but be reminded of the true light of the world that came to bring us up out of the darkness. This is the perfect time to refocus on the reason we celebrate the Christmas season.

Join us on Sunday December 24th at 10am. If you can, stick around after the service for cookie decorating and crafts for the kids, along with snacks and hot chocolate.

*Due to the shorter service length, nursery and childcare will not be available.
